Bald Eagle Construction, inc. has spent the last few years dovoted to bathroom remodeling. From the demo, to the final touches, we are always curtious to your home and clean up your project daily. All remodeling debri is removed from jobsite to an off site dumpster. No large dumpsters will sit on your property, and potentally cause damage to your driveway!!
We offer more than just your standard remodel. From adding skylights, bubble tubs, and steam rooms, to heated flooring, Quartz / Granite countertops, and vessel sinks. We have available designers, to help you coordinate colors and materials.
Most bathrooms being remodeled require the proper permits to be pulled from the city and state. We will obtain these permits, and draw the prints necessary to complete your project.
Health is another good reason to consider remodeling, this may sound odd, but if you have any blistering tile, or soft spots in your bathroom wall, you may need to be concerned about mold and/or rot behind the walls. Any amount of mold in your home can potentially cause health issues, and must be addressed correctally. Some companies advertise a one day solution, or an overlay. This will only hide the problem, and start the foundation for dry rot. If you notice any amount of mold in your home, contact us and/or local building official for the best advice. We can provide service to have the mold professionally removed, and stop all causes that allow the growth of mold spores.
Here is a list of some of the most popular upgrades to bathrooms, that we have remodeled.
1) Installing custom cabinetry
With much more storage options than store bought units. We can have roll out shelving included, soft closing doors, and drawers. Also giving us the ability to put a cabinet anywhere that there is a little extra space.
2)Heated tile flooring.
This can work off of a thermastadt similar to your home thermostadt. It can be warm in the morning, off during the day, and warm again in the evening when your back home. Vary inexpensive to run, and is easily installed under the finished floor of your choice.
3)Undermount, and vessel sinks.
Upgrading your sink can change the view of your bathroom drasticly. Undermount sinks are popular with solid surface countertops, like Granite, Silestone, or Corian. And are easier to maintain and keep clean than a standard top mounted sink. Vessel sinks are very contemperary, and popular lately in master baths, and powder rooms.
4)Faucets
A wide veriety of faucets are available, in several different finishes to make your bathroom have a truely custom look. Many new shower faucets have the ability to shoot water from more than one direction, even from the ceiling. See Delta faucets website for more details
5)Exaust fans
Your exaust fan doesn't have to be a noisy contraption. Many of the new models have extremly quiet motors, and can be installed with a timer.
6)Toilet
We will only install a toilet that has proven to be a Quality, anti-cloging toilet. This means you won't need that plunger any more. These toilets will still come in a variety of styles and sizes, with round or oval bowls.
7)Towel warmers
Nothing is better than having a warm towel after your shower, this also works great for drying out damp towels between uses.
8)Skylights
Having natual light in your bathroom can make a huge difference. Skylights and reflection tubes can be installed on any bathroom, that has a roof directly above it.
9)Entertainment
Many people have opted to have a sound system, and/or flat screens installed into the wall of there bathroom. We can coordinate audio/video cords, or cable/satalite t.v within viewing distance of your jacuzzi tub. Water proof speakers can also be installed, to listen to your favorite music, or even your ipod, while in the shower.
10)Outlets, and lighting
Typical bathrooms built in the 60's and 70' did not have the necessary outlets, or lighting needed in todays bathrooms. We can install hidden outlets inside of cabinetry for chargers, curling iron, blow dryers, exc. And lights can be added too, with the option of a dimmer.
